Clemmie “Sis” Anderson Shamblin, 89, of Dunbar passed away on August 28th. She was a most loving and giving person even in leaving this earth as she donated her body to the WVU School of Medicine.
Carolyn S. Foster, 77, of South Charleston, passed away on September 1, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House West.
She was a 1959 graduate of Dupont High School and retired from Union Carbide Corp.
Kathleen “Penny” Nicholls went home to be with her Lord on August 30, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. During her long suffering, she inspired many by her strength of faith, strength of character, and willingness to endure her condition to help others.
Margaret Gurski Borzych, 79, of Charleston, W, passed away on August 22, 2018 at home.
She was born in Charleston to the late George and Laura Mae Hager Gurski. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Harold Borzych.
Nancy Fox passed away peacefully on August 21, 2018, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. Her bright eyes, beautiful smile, and quick wit will be greatly missed.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Paul, and her parents Julia and Joe Black.
Marilyn Mae Walker Little, 83, of Charleston died peacefully at the home of her daughter, Barbara, on August 16, 2018 after fighting a long, hard battle with dementia.
Marilyn was born at Campbell’s Creek, WV and graduated from Dupont High School. She worked at the Charleston Credit Bureau before starting a family with her husband, Carl.
Joseph W. Blackshire, 77, of Charleston, passed away on August 4, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House. Joe was born on April 27, 1941 in Charleston, son of Virginia and Thomas Blackshire. He was educated in Charleston schools, graduated from WV State and attended C.O.G.S.
Renee S. Boggs, 51, of Loudendale, passed away on August 2, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. Renee was born with a very rare syndrome which prevented her from doing many things. She was a very loving and giving person.
Ella Margaret McDaniel, 91, of Charleston, entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. She was a member of South Ruffner Presbyterian Church and served in several capacities including, church historian, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and her card ministry. She volunteered at the Union Mission.
Terry Lee Miller, 71, of Charleston, lost his 6+ year battle with brain cancer Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Hubbard Hospice House with his loving family by his side. Born September 10, 1946, in Parkersburg, Terry was the son of Barbara Jean Miller Dennis of Belpre, Ohio. Preceding him in death was his precious grandmother, Winnie O’Dell Oliver; brother, Dale Eugene Miller; and infant son, Michael Miller.
