Roger Patrick Carrier, Jr., 51, of Dunbar, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. A heavenly angel saw a stopping heart so she came to whisper it is time to leave, your MawMaw Carrier is waiting. Without looking to see the tears he took her hand.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jr. and Jean Carrier and Harry and Joan Lynch; father, Roger Carrier; uncle, Michael Carrier.

Roger lived simple and quiet. He was kind and respectful and he loved elderly people helping them whenever he could. He would take in stray animals feeding them and finding them homes. He enjoyed going to flea markets and finding “hidden treasures”. Most of all he loved his daughter, “Pinky”.

He leaves behind his mother, Cathy Lynch (Rick); brother, Christopher Carrier (Pam); daughter, Chelsey and her mother, Trisha Carrier; uncles, David Lynch (Lisa) and Harry Lynch; two nephews, one great nephew; one niece; and two people who loved him, Sandra Wade and Carla Jordan.

A service to Honor the Life of Roger will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston with Rev. Gene Pauley officiating. Interment will follow in French Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am at the funeral home.
