Jackie M. Stewart, 76, of Scott Depot, WV, passed away on April 24, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

Jackie Marie Stewart was born February 19, 1948, in Charleston, WV, and was the daughter of Charles Monroe “Pete” Whidby and Betty Mae Fizer Whidby. She was a 1966 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and retired from White Dodge Kia in 2014. Jackie loved the Lord, and Jesus took her by the hand on April 24, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Monroe “Pete” Whidby and Betty Mae Fizer Whidby; her brother, Paul M. Whidby; and her sister, Sharon L. Vanatter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Larry Stewart of Scott Depot; daughter, Wendy (Mark) Thomas of Winfield; sons, Larry (Millie) Stewart of St. Albans and Brian Stewart of Scott Depot; grandsons, Andrew (Gabby) Thomas of Poca, Matthew Thomas of Winfield, and Zach Stewart of St. Albans; great-grandson, Sebastian Thomas, due this July; brother, David (Evelyn) Whidby of St. Albans; sister, Debbie (Bill) Koontz of Winfield; and sister-in-law, Phoebe Whidby of St. Albans.

A service to Honor the Life of Jackie M. Stewart will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston, with Pastor Greg Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
