Credit Policy

One of the most important responsibilities we have to each family we are privileged to serve is to carefully listen and bring your emotional and financial needs together. Our experienced staff will guide you through the arrangement and selection process to Honor the Life of your loved one in a meaningful and appropriate way that meets your individual needs.

We are totally dependent on the families we serve for prompt payment. It is not our policy to extend credit or payments over a period of time. If there are no assets or life insurance policies to secure payment, the balance will be due in full prior to services being scheduled. These requirements were adopted to insure we meet our financial obligations, and thus remain able to continue providing our families the quality services and facilities they expect from Snodgrass Funeral Home.

A secured payment option must be selected at the time of the arrangements. We reserve the right to require payment in full before any services are scheduled or carried out. We reserve the right to charge interest at 12% annum compounded from date of contract and will be added to any balance due after 30 days from the date of death, as well as any additional fees incurred as a result of collections including, but not limited to, late fees and attorney fees.

Payment in full is required upon receipt of the final invoice being provided.
  • Life Insurance Policies: A valid assignable policy must be presented at the time of the arrangements and must be verified by the funeral home. The beneficiary (s) of the policy will be required to sign the working and final invoice as well as the insurance assignment. We will not accept any policy 2 years old or less as these policies are in a contestability period and we do not accept Accidental Life Insurance Policies. We will assist you with this process however, the person(s) will be financially responsible should the policy not pay for any reason. If the policy is not assignable, we reserve the right to require another form of payment. We will assist you with the process of submitting your claim either way.
