Lora Ellen Henderson, age 80, of Charleston, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2020.
Lora was born in 1940 in Kanawha County, daughter of the late Tulla and Martha Cogar.

Judith “Judy” Casto

Judith Louise “Judy” Casto, 79, formerly of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Putnam Center in Hurricane.
Born in Charleston, WV in 1940 to the late Eli and Nina Moore, she was a long time resident of South Charleston and graduated from South Charleston High School.

Carolynne “Liz” Peters

Carolynne (Liz) Peters, 74, of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Hubbard Hospice House West.

Calvin L. “Pete” Pauley

Calvin L. “Pete” Pauley, 90, of South Charleston went to his heavenly home on May 22, 2020.

He was the son of the late Van Buren and Lola Pauley of McCorkle, WV.

Pete attended Duval High School and was a graduate of the Charleston School of Business. 

Everette Harris

Everette Harris, Jr., passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 77.  He was an avid and dedicated church member, who unselfishly put his family, church and friends ahead of himself daily.

Frank Edward “Ed” Evans

Frank Edward “Ed” Evans, Jr. age 82 of South Charleston passed away Saturday May 16, 2020 at home.
Ed was born April 10, 1938 in Charleston, WV, son of the late Frank Edward Sr. and Peggy Harris Evans.  He was also preceded in death by his mother and father in law, Margie and Henry Reynolds.

Hester Covert

Hester L. Covert was born on March 18, 1921 in Pt. Pleasant, WV to the late Walter and Louise Lewis.  She lived in Pt. Pleasant during her early years and had stories of how she learned to swim in the Ohio River. The family moved to Charleston in the late 1930’s and Hester graduated from Charleston High School.

Phyllis Guthrie

Phyllis Juanita Guthrie passed away peacefully, surrounded by those that loved her on April 29, 2020, in Springville Utah.
Phyllis was born an only child to the late, William James and Mildred Marie Connery Moubray, her dad passing when she was very young.  The majority of her life she resided in Charleston and Summersville, West Virginia.

Linda Kay Keeney Ellis, age 79, of Chesapeake, passed away Sunday May 10, 2020 at Hospice House at CAMC after an extended illness.

Tommie Mabe

Tommie Charles Mabe, 91, of South Charleston passed away on May 7, 2020 at Sweetbrier Assisted Living in Dunbar.
He was born on October 10, 1928 in Rogersville, TN.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Lou Mabe; son Tracy Neil Mabe, mother Allie Armstrong, and sister, Virginia McIntosh (Bob).
