Samuel (Sammy) Allen Frame, 82, of Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Quick, West Virginia, on September 16, 1941. He attended Stonewall Jackson High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel S. and Virgie B. Frame, his brother Paul Edward Frame, and son Clinton Allen Frame.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of nearly 62 years Nancy; daughters, Sandra Keener of Belle and Betsy Chapman (Keith) of Elkview; grandchildren: Chris Keener, Brittini Frame, Jeffrey Dozier, Brookelynn Dozier, Abbegail Thaxton; and great-grandchildren: Emma Grayce McDougal, Tanner Allen McDougal, and Dawson Samuel Jarrell.

He was an active and dedicated member of Elk Hills Presbyterian Church. He worked hard his entire life supporting his family and was always willing to lend a hand to anybody that needed help. He worked at 7-up Bottling Company, where he met the love of his life. He worked for Chemical Tank Lines, Railway Express, and Kroger Warehouse, where he retired from when they closed the Charleston location. He then went to work for his long-time friend, Garcie Marker & Sons Excavating, where he finally retired at the age of 81.

Sammy loved spending time with his family, bowling, going camping, traveling across the country, and gathering together with his family every week to quilt.

A service to Honor the Life of Sammy will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston, with Pastor Cherrie Sizemore officiating. Family and friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston.
