Martha R. Chandler, age 66, of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on March 26, 1957, in Charleston, daughter of the late E. Glenn Robinson and Emma Lou Legg Robinson.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, Richard, and son, Adam Chandler.

Martha was a 1975 graduate of South Charleston High School and earned a BA at Marshall University in 1983.  She worked as a manager in the insurance industry.

She loved traveling, especially to any beach, history, sports, and reading.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Laura Schmidt (Matt), brother, Bill Robinson (Julie), and sister, Ann Robinson; niece, Jessica Robinson (CJ); and nephew, Andrew Robinson (Karen).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, with Mr. H.R. Whittington officiating.
