Part Time Funeral Attendants
This is a flexible, as-needed position with no set schedule or guaranteed number of hours per week. It can be an excellent opportunity for retired or semi-retired individuals who are looking for meaningful part-time work without the commitment of a full-time position or set weekly schedule.
Our Funeral Attendants play an important role in helping us provide professional and compassionate service to the families we serve. Duties may include preparing the funeral home and vehicles for services, assisting during funeral services, and performing removals (death calls).
We are looking for individuals who are willing and able to assist with both removals and funeral services, as well as individuals who prefer to work funeral services only. Both opportunities require the same professional standards and qualifications.
We are looking for individuals who are:
• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Dependable, respectful, and compassionate
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position
• In possession of a valid driver's license
• Available to work nights, weekends, and daytime hours
• Comfortable working with families, the public, and our professional staff
