William E. “Bill” Kitchen, age 78, of Charleston, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at his residence, on Friday September 29, 2023.

He was born on February 21, 1945, son of the late Derwood and Theodosia Mason Kitchen.  He is also preceded in death by his granddaughters, Chelsea Kitchen and Angel Kitchen.

Bill was a loving husband and father, good to everyone he met.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; sons, David Kitchen (Angie) and Billy Kitchen (Kim); grandchildren, Chasadina Cook (Josh), Christopher Kitchen  (Kaitlynn),  Brittany Brown, and Joseph Brown; great grandchildren, Josilyn, Sophia, and Ethan.

The family will have a private celebration of Bill’s life.
