William “Bill” Jordan, D.C.
William V. “Bill” Jordan, D.C., 76, of Charleston, WV, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Belleair Beach, FL.
Bill was born on December 30, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Karl V. and Helen M. Jordan. He was a 1968 graduate of George Washington High School and received a Doctorate of Chiropractic, in 1973, from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
He faithfully served the community for five decades, improving the lives and health of thousands of patients with compassion and care. He was in practice for several years with his father at Jordan Chiropractic Services and was the current owner of Valley Spine and Injury Center in South Charleston, WV. He had served as the past President of the WV Chiropractic Association.
Bill was an avid golfer, mountain biker and hiker. He was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed racing and race cars.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Peggy Pope; his son, Will Jordan (Patti) of Ocala, FL; his daughters, Lynn Jordan and Beth Jordan of Trinidad, CO, and their mother, Vicki Jordan of Trinidad, CO; grandchildren, Sophie and Jeffrey; sister, Kathy; brother-in-law, David Pope; several nieces and nephews and his feline companion “Sam.” He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, David Jordan.
Bill was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for his kindness, integrity and love for his family. His quiet confidence and steady demeanor put everyone at ease and gave comfort to his patients throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by all.
A celebration of life reception and gathering will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. A private family service will be held at an earlier time with the Rev. Audie Murphy, Sr., officiating.
