Adriana Teresa Gracida Love, age 74, of Charleston, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

She was born on May 21, 1949, in Oaxaca, Mexico, the daughter of the late Carlos Gracida Carrizosa and Esther Canseco de Gracida. She was the youngest of seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanette Love and Adriana Marshall, (husband Jonathan), and their children Vincent and Adrian, all of Charleston; and her former husband, Stephen Love, M.D. of Wheeling, West Virginia.

She dedicated her life to being an excellent mother to her daughters and a caring and devoted grandmother to her grandsons. There was no role more important to her than caring for her family and she was adored by those who knew and loved her. She enjoyed CrossFit, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the foundation of her family and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass to honor Adriana’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. The family will receive friends half an hour prior to the service.
