Ollie “Jean” Cobb, age 75 of South Charleston WV went to be with the Lord on, Tuesday April 28, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House. She was born April 2, 1951, at home in Elkview WV, the daughter of the late Ollie and Pearl Reed. Also preceding her in death is her brother, Ronald Reed, Step- Mother Anne Reed.  Jean attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Saint Albans WV. Jean retired from Burger King after twenty plus years of service. She loved her puppy’s Charlie, Zoey, and Copper with all her heart.

Survivors include her son Brian (Shelly) Cobb of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Emily Cobb and Trenton Cobb; sister, Sharron (Emory) Shamblin of Palm Coast FL; nephews, Shane (Ramona) Shamblin, Travis (Kristian) Shamblin; great nieces and nephews, Makayla, Caleb, Amelia, Avery Shamblin.

Additional survivors include best friend and roommate Melissa Wolford who was loved and treated as a daughter, Isiah Mantis, Gabriel Wolford both loved and treated as grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at CMAC Memorial CPICU unit and to the Hubbard Hospice House both located in Charleston WV.

At her request there will be no memorial service.
