So sorry for your loss Jack was a great person and wonderful supervisor i worked with Jack for a number of years had a wonderful personality and great disposition which was such an asset to have in his position Jack treated his employees well and at times was conflicted with what he tried to do and and what the company’s policies were thought of Jack often. This world needs more people like Jack as a person and someone who supervised others great memories of our time at Kanawha Valley Power/Appalachian Power Jack helped me in pesonal matters as i went through a divorce and got custody of my 2 children who were 2 yrs old and Jack allowed me time off to care for them when they were sick and also when they started school and doing doctor/dentist appointments and other things related to raising children as a single parent i will always be indebted to Jack for his kind and caring ways i could go on and on about Jacks great attributes but your family was fortunate to have experienced them on a daily basis.BEST WISHES. David L French [ I was stationed at Winfield Hydro but worked at all 3 Hydro’s under Jack] retired with 43 of service.
