James Jones, 72, of South Charleston, West Virginia entered into Heaven on May 16th, 2019 at his home.He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 14th, 1946 to Berry Calvert Jones and Frances Elizabeth Jones (King). He retired from the Kanawha County Assessor’s Office as the chief deputy assessor for the City of Charleston.
Franklin B. Pelurie of St. Albans died Tuesday, May 7, 2019.He was born in Columbia, PA on March 30, 1935 to Franklin and Gertrude (Hess) Pelurie, and lived there until he enlisted in the US Navy in 1953.
John Timothy “Tim” Whittington, 67, of Charleston, WV passed away on April 25, 2019. He was born to John and Merlene “Kirk” Whittington. John graduated with the Paden City High School Class of 1969. He then went in the Army with regiment 214 and served in the Vietnam War.
Terry Lee LeFevre Matheny, age 64, of Kanawha City, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 7, 2019She was born October 29, 1954 in Charleston, daughter of the late Lawrence and Pauline Chapman LeFevre. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Willoughby.
Laura Mae Fox Dent, 85, of South Charleston, passed away on May 2, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House, South Charleston.She was born in 1933 to the late William Edward and Linda Bell Chandler Fox. She attended First Church of The Nazarene in Spring Hill and enjoyed bowling where she was on a league at Town N Country Lanes in Nitro.
Patsy Ruth Hackworth, age 83, of Charleston, passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House on Wednesday May 1, 2019.She was born on April 7, 1936 at Williamson, WV, daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Varney. She is also preceded in death by her husband Gene Hackworth and her sister Barbara Brown.
