Mary Ann Watson, 88, of South Charleston, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

She was born on September 18, 1929 in South Charleston to the late Albert Ray and Mary Hudnall Giles. She was also preceded the death by her husband of 68 years, Clyde M. Watson.

She was a 1947 graduate of South Charleston High School. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing and watching golf. She also enjoyed watching Turner classic movies. She was a member of the Elks Club Lodge 202.

Mary is survived by son, Giles (Libby) Watson; granddaughter, Laura (Stephen) Pavey; great grandson, Jackson Pavey; sister, Wanda (Don) Droullard; sister-in-law, Meta Belle McCracken; sister-in-law, Loretta Watson; nieces, Mary K. (Pat) Bond, and Julie (Jack) Deal, Sandra Bourgeois; Nephews, Barry Lee (Peggy) McCracken, Jeff (Alva) McCracken, Steve (Gina) Fry, Scott McCracken, Doug (TJ) Watson, and Rex Watson; great nieces and nephews, Patrick(Megan) Bond, Matthew (Anna Francis) Bond, Meredith (Bill) Aubel, Kate (Stewart) Miner, and Michael (Alise) Deal; as well as many other much loved extended family and friends.

Visitation and Celebration will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston with entombment in Cunningham Memorial Park, Upper Mausoleum, St. Albans.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Read Aloud West Virginia, 1700 MacCorkle Ave, SE, Charleston, WV 25314.
