Hello John was a great friend to my Dad Joseph Kroger and family He always would visited my dad at the care home and they would always have lot laughs and great friendship I have great memories of John such nice man And Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers
John was one of the senior members of our large family of cousins. He loved his family and was generous and kind to all us younger ones. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always took time to show interest in what was going on in your life. John’s dad died when he was just a young boy of six. Despite this loss, John would persevere. After graduating from high school he would work his way through college and later enlist in the service. He would meet Diane, the love of his life, where they would celebrate 61 years of marriage. John was someone we always looked up to. He was a wonderful example of what a husband, father, cousin and friend should be. He will be missed by all whose life he touched.
All my life as a Grennan cousin, I was reminded that John was the first in the generation and I was the last. Together we were the Alpha and the Omega. Because twenty-five years separated us in age, I didn’t grow up hanging out with John and Ann when they lived in Sterling. For me it was a big deal when the Lordans were coming to town. John was always willing to take the time to talk and catch up on what was happening in my life. He treated me like I was one of the cool cousins! (aka Terry Hinkel above) I will miss knowing he is out there as my alpha bookend.
All my love to the entire Lordan family.

John cared deeply for our Father, Joseph Kroger. Both were parishoners at Blessed Sacrament. They shared the love of Our Lord and the Insurance agency. John spent countless hours visiting him at his care home. He was blessed with his company. Prayers for John and his Family.
