Eliza G. Ballard, of Loudendale, passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born on September 17, 1954 in Stevens Point, WI, daughter of the late Elrozma and Elvera Garza. She is also preceded in death by her son Leonard Newfrey“Peanut”, Betro, Jr. 2 brothers and a sister.
Eliza is survived by her loving husband, Michael Jay Ballard; “Aunt Nannie”, Nancy Pennington;
Daughter, Patsy and Johnny Johnson, 2 sons, Keith and Melissa, 4 kids, Jeremiah, Joshua, Julia Laloni Betro, Johnathan Amanda, 4 kids Jonathan Jr. , Kendall, Kimberly, Leah “my little burrito.
Daughter, Anne and David Hedrick, children, granddaughter, Savannha and Matt Gresham, great grandchildren, Kelleigh Gresham, Jeremiah Gresham, Wyatt Gresham, Lora Gresham, Issac “Bucka” Gresham; grandchildren TJ Hedrick his girlfriend Jessica West; great grandchildren, Tanner Queen, Damian West, McKinnly Plummer, Omrie West and Thomas David “Tommy” Hedrick III; grandchild, William Hedrick and girlfriend, Jenna Ewing, and great grandson, Kaysen Allen Hedrick; granddaughter Shelby Hedrick, great grandchild, Eli Hedrick, Ile Hedrick and Owen Hedrick.
Daughter Bobbyjo Betro, boyfriend Anthony Casto and her five children, Nicole Betro; great grandchildren, Stella Betro, Grayson Childers, Teagan Martin; granddaughter, Tiffany Holstein Boggs with husband Justin Boggs.
Granddaughter Amanda Holstein Zack (Mandy Pooh) with husband Lee Zack; great grandchildren, Ashton, Aubrey, Leeland, Bristol & Isabella “Bella” Zack.
Grandson, Matthew Story with girlfriend Mackenzie McCallister; great grandchildren, Braxton Story and Grayson McCallister.
Grandson Samuel Betro with boyfriend Austin Songer.
A service to honor the life of Eliza will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at the Loudendale Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Chuck Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, Charleston.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
