Elisabeth Gherasin Miles (Betty), 97, died at Hubbard Hospice House West on January 16, 2024. Betty was born in Bridgeport, Ohio, on December 9, 1926. She had a full professional and private life. She was a vibrant member of the Charleston community and a proud West Virginian. She dedicated much of her time to her health and fitness, the media, entertaining friends, and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Anisiea; 4 sisters; her husband, Paul; and her daughter, Janet (Douglas). She is survived by her son, Mack (Elliott), and her grandchildren: Sam (Derin), Charlie, and Elisabeth McElwee.
