Meet Kelly

Kelly D. Barnhart
Office Manager

Kelly joined the Snodgrass Funeral Home family in August 2009 with over 25 years of customer service, management, and bookkeeping experience. She is a 1983 graduate of Dunbar High School and she currently resides in Charleston with her husband, Jim. Kelly and Jim are members of Bible Center Church. They have two grown children. Their son, Jamie, is a Civil Engineering graduate (PE) of WVU who recently moved back from Leesburg, VA and currently resides in Charleston, WV with his wife, Whitney, their daughter, Savannah, their son, James Brady, and their newest daughter, Kinsley Reese (May 2020). Kelly and Jim’s daughter, Becca, is an Accounting graduate of The University of Charleston with her CPA and resides in Hurricane, WV with her husband, Brian Sigman, and their two daughters, Summer Dawn and Piper Rae (2022).

Kelly loves spending time with her family, whether it be on their boat, camping, going to the beach, traveling, attending WVU games or just visiting together. The joys of her life are her grandchildren. She is always looking for opportunities to plan and organize events and gatherings for and with family and friends, as well preparing the food for them. She is known as the “planner” of Snodgrass Funeral Home and always makes sure that her “work family” is well taken care of with special meals on their birthdays. Working at Snodgrass allows Kelly the opportunity to use her talents and skills for the benefit of all the families she serves. Her passion and desire to help and care for others is another reason she feels so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family here at Snodgrass Funeral Home.
