Meet Jeff

Jeff Northcutt
Part-Time Funeral Attendant

Jeff grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He accepted a position with Columbia Gas in March 1981 and moved to Charleston where he met his future sweetheart, Jan. They married in September 1984 and have two children, Michael and Natalie. Michael is a gastroenterologist and lives in Sunnyvale, Ca. with his wife, Kacie. Natalie, is a registered nurse at CAMC, and lives in South Charleston with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Addison and Reagan.

Jeff and Jan buy and sell antiques and are owners of Mountain Treasures Estate Sales and Auctions. Over the past 30 years, they have conducted over 300 estate liquidations.

Jeff is an elder at St. Timothy Lutheran Church and his hobbies include “spoiling” his two granddaughters, road biking the hills of WV, going to his beach house at Oak Island, NC and going to his camp in the mountains of Webster County, WV.

Jeff joined the Snodgrass team shortly after his retirement from Columbia Gas and really enjoys working with L.J. and his team of professionals. “I never thought I would be working in the funeral business after my retirement. However, this opportunity has allowed me to become more actively engaged in the community, meet new friends, and assist people in dealing with the loss of loved ones during a difficult time in their life.”
