Jean M. Surbaugh, 95, of South Charleston, passed away on July 13, 2023. She was born on March 2, 1928, to the late Gladys Martin and Denver Carte.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Surbaugh; brother, Lee Williams; and sister, Ann Westfall. She is survived by: daughters, Beth Thomas (David) and Mary Love (Jim); sons, Tony Surbaugh (Connie) and David Surbaugh (Susan); seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston.
