Catherine Delane Webb Tate, 60, of Charleston, WV, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023.

Cathie grew up in Madison, WV and graduated from Scott High School. She studied at Marshall University and then went on to become a nurse. Though the most important job she ever had was being a mom and sister. She spent her time loving on her beloved dog, Oliver. She had recently become a nana to her first grandchild which had been a really bright time in her life. Cathie was easy going and friendly, quickly making friends with everyone she met. She was always good for a laugh and she was fiercely loyal to her family. She was so generous and kind. And she was intentional with her efforts in making those around her feel her love.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Gene Webb.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Tate (Brandon Kline) and grandson Declan Banks Kline of Charleston; her brother, Jason Webb (Christa) and nephew and niece, Jackson Webb and Jillian Webb of Cross Lanes; and her brother Charles Webb.

A casual gathering to Honor the Life of Cathie will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston.
