Linda Lou Mitchell, age 77, of Charleston, passed away Saturday December 24, 2022 at CAMC General Hospital.

She was born August 28, 1945 in Beckley, daughter of the late Roy and Chilla K. Sherman. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Carnell and her brother-in-law, Cecil Eller.

Linda is survived by her daughter Robin Mitchell (Richard) of Hurricane; son Scott Mitchell of Nashville, TN; sisters, Brenda Sue Barber (Bucky), who was her twin sister, and Kackie Eller of Charleston; nieces, Lisa Eller Stalvey, Kim Barber Massey, and Renee Barber Grinder; nephew, Christopher Eller; and great granddaughter, Cierra Carnell.

The family will have a private service. She will be interred in Blue Ridge Memorial Park, Beckley, WV.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff, at Stonerise Healthcare of Charleston, for the wonderful years she spent with them and considered them to be her second family.
