Teresa Ann Shock, 58, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Nitro, WV, passed away on July 8, 2025.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Catlettsburg, Kentucky where she graduated from Boyd County High School. Over the next six years she served in the US Army during desert storm. She later worked in the health care field as a CNA. Teresa was a member of the Beech Creek Baptist Church in Catlettsburg where she enjoyed spending time at the various church activities and particularly the women’s group that she was a part of. She loved gospel music, going to movies and even became a fan of baseball which she enjoyed doing with her husband. She loved animals and had many cats both inside and outside cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Janet Cassity and father-in-law, James Shock.

Teresa is survived by her Husband, James E. Shock; sister, Lisa Maggard; brother, Scott Cassity; mother-in-law, Beverly Shock.

A service to Honor the Life of Teresa will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
