Rosalie Gay Estep Medley, 88, of South Charleston, passed away on August 28, 2023, at Hubbard Hospice House West.

She was born in Powelton, WV, to the late Homer and Georgia Legg Estep. She was a homemaker and cared for her family very deeply. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and embroidering. Rosalie was a member of First Church of God on Ohio Street in South Charleston, where she loved to sing in the choir and fellowship with her church family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gail Medley; sister, Patsy Board; brother, Steve Estep.

Rosalie is survived by her four children, Jerry (Vickie) Medley of Hurricane, WV, Mark Medley of Charleston, WV, Stephanie Dotson of South Charleston, WV and Greg (Brandi) Medley of Nitro, WV; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

A service to Honor the Life of Rosalie Medley will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 1, 2023 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston with Pastor Charles Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
