Gordon Ballard was the definition of integrity and dignity using his faith to spread kindness to all those around him. A hero to many including myself simply because of his humbleness and unprecedented work ethics. His love for his lifetime soulmate, Barbara, and his entire family was what great men yearn for. He had an infectious smile that was welcoming and instantly made you feel respected and appreciated. I took every opportunity I could when I seen him to talk too and gather as much wisdom as I could. He reminded me of my own father whom also was an avid worker and passed away at the age of 88. I encourage the entire family to now look for signs in which you will be comforted knowing he is in a place we all envy. My mother told me I would find Pennie’s heads up. I now have a jar full. Simply wanted to thank Mr. Ballard for leaving the impressive legacy he did and encourage the family to forever allow his light to shine brightly in the core of their hearts by spreading kindness and working hard daily. As I look up I can here him saying “WHO DEY” and GO REDS!”
