I learned about Leith’s passing today through my kids. We are all very saddened by his passing. None of us is now in WV, and we won’t be able to extend our sympathies in person. Leith and my son, Ely, used to have overnights. The same goes for Verity, Leith’s sister, and my daughter, Sophie. As a result, I became good friends with Scott and Teresa, the parents. My heart is broken, and I know Scott is broken. Leith was a good boy. May he rest in peace.
Leith, words cannot tell what a good person you are. My friend its almost been one week. Going forward is hard but I will need to. You were my family and you knew that. I will keep you doing good for the rest of my life.
The Basile family extends our heart felt condolences to Scott, Verity and all who loved Leith. I knew Leith as a boy who had a kind, great disposition and a memorably sweet smile. From his proud Mom, Teresa, we learned of Leith’s brave service to our country, including his tour in Kuwait. Just as we were sorry to hear of Teresa’s passing, we are saddened at Leith’s untimely passing.
