Johnny M. “Mike/MJ” Jeffries, age 65, of Charleston passed away Tuesday December 20, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 21, 1956 in Charleston, son of the late Johnny Lee Jeffries and the late Deanna Joyce Daske. He is preceded in death by, brother Rick Joseph Hullinger.
Mike worked as a project manager for Mason & Barry Inc. in Scott Depot, WV. He has worked in the security system industry since the mid 90’s, where he had designed multiple security smart systems that help to keep our schools safe. He enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his kids and his grandkids, working on computers, visiting lighthouses, and even an occasional computer war game.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Sharayah Jeffries (Joseph Skeen) of Charleston; two sons, Shaun Jeffries (Stephinie Jeffries) of South Charleston and Joe Jeffries (Tracy Jeffries) of Palmetto, FL; Companion, Lou Weisberg and her two sons, Billy and Michael; sister, Hope VanZee; three brothers, Todd, Chad, and Scott Hullinger; six grandchildren, Dylan, Kaytlin, Trinity, Preston, Kalei, and Addalynn; and three step grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sarah, and Jaxon.

A memorial to honor Mike’s life will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 starting at 5:00 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 pm at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston, WV, with Pastor Will Basham officiating.
