Gregory Steven Bishop, 68, of South Charleston, WV, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the Charleston Hubbard House, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Greg was a lifelong resident of South Charleston and a graduate of South Charleston High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Bishop, and mother, Dayneze Stone Bishop.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Eugene Bishop (Karen), and sister, Gina Cunningham (Dave). Greg dearly loved his nieces and nephew and all of their children, and he enjoyed buying special gifts for them.

The family would also like to thank his brother-in-law, Greg Bird, for all his support and generosity.

A private graveside service and burial was held in the Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston with the Rev. Dr. Patricia Jarvis officiating.
