Flossie (Rollins) Kennedy, 87, of Charleston, formerly of Clendenin, finished her earthly journey and gained Heaven as her home on February 22, 2026, after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Randall Kennedy; her son, Tim Kennedy; her stepson, Don Kennedy; her parents, Bert and Alma Rollins; four sisters; and four brothers.

Flossie was a devoted homemaker who lovingly raised five children and two stepsons. She was a strong woman with a kind and gentle spirit who loved her family deeply. Her sense of humor made everyone laugh! She created a home filled with warmth and faith, giving her children and grandchildren treasured memories they will cherish forever.

She is survived by her children: Karen Morgan; Joyce Harrah (Rick); Brenda West (Jim); and Bill Kennedy (Karen) all of Charleston. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jason of Georgia; Lindsay, Alicia, Alfred and Christina of Charleston; Erin of Jacksonville, Florida; and Kelli of Huntington, WV. She is further survived by several step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Jay and David of Georgia.

Flossie attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church of Hurricane, WV.

The body will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
