Joann was a precious friend. She comforted me when I lost my son because she knew the grief I was going through. She was an inspiration to me always. I have missed seeing her when going into Cosmos. She and I became very close. May the Lord give comfort to each of her family during this time of sorrow. Love and prayers.
I was shocked to learn of Joann’s death. I remain with difficulty wrapping my head around this. Joann was my friend. We shared similar values, beliefs, political ideologies and interests (music, books). Her presence in my world added to my security. It was this time of every year, she would hand me a loving Christmas card. Yesterday, on my way to Cosmos, I thought of receiving the card that day. Instead, I received the sorrowful news.
Joann was such a pleasure. I will miss her.
My sympathies to her children, her brothers and other family. She loved you so.
I was saddened to hear of the passing of my friend, JoAnne. I got to know her from going to Cosmos. I truly enjoyed our conversations and her stories about her family. who she loved so much. We enjoyed talking about Charleston as it was so many years ago. I missed her being there so much during the past several months.
My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
