Rev Jackson was a wonderful pastor, person and friend. He always had kind words and a smile to share with everyone. We will miss him greatly at our church First Missionary Baptist Church of Vandalia. I was honored to meet him many moons ago as his son’s ( Matthew)school counselor in Elem & Jr High School. God has gained another Angel in his kingdom.
My sincere condolences to his family, loved ones and First Missionary Baptist Church of Vandelia. Rev. Jackson will be missed by all who knew him. May God rest his soul.
Rev. Jackson was a longtime friend. I was honored to be among the examination committee when he was granted his status as an ordained minister. He was very merciful and kind to my son Eric Lowther, who was an alcoholic but who showed up faithfully to play piano at Rev. Jackson’s church. My condolences are extended to sister Jackson and the family in this time of temporary separation.
