Nancy, I am so sorry to read of Vic’s passing. What a talented and special man he was and will continue to be to those who knew him best. Holding you close in my heart today.
Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of Vic’s passing. He was such a good friend to Dan and Mom as well as you have been. I pray you always have a glimmer of light shining for you through Vic’s writings, memories, and his soft-spoken gentle voice. I can’t come Tuesday to give you a hug as it is mom’s birthday and I will be in Spencer! Soon!
Vic and I had recently reconnected through Facebook. We first met each other at WVU-P in 1970. We became good friends and shared an apartment for the time we went to school there. Later on he was best man at my wedding. He was a tough little guy but had a heart and determination of a man twice his size. One summer he worked on power lines carrying steel and building electrical line towers along the right a ways. He loved poetry and alternate thought. We went our different ways after WVU-P and lost track of each other until recently. I never forgot him though and will always remember him fondly as one of my best friends over the years and miles. Happy trails Vic.
Sorry for your loss, Nancy.
