Probate Assistance → $FREE
Snodgrass Funeral Home understands the difficult task at hand of probating a will. Our Licensed Funeral Director can assist you with the process. Contact our office to set up an appointment if you need assistance in completing the paperwork or if you have questions regarding this. You may also contact the Fiduciary Supervisor’s Office of Kanawha County by calling 304-357-0125 or in Putnam County at 304-586-0239. Please Note we are in no way providing you with legal advice or assistance with regards to this process.

When you begin the Probate process, you may find that you will need a bondsman to provide a surety on your behalf. Below is a list of bondsmen in the local area that may be able to assist you in this matter.

Appraisal Services → $Set by the Appraiser
During the probate process, you may require the services of an appraiser. We will be happy to provide you with a list of appraisers.

Legal Services → $Set by the Lawyer
Snodgrass Funeral Home will assist you at no charge in the probate process. However, there are times such as wrongful death, complex estates, will contest and other legal issues, when a lawyer may be required. If you do not have a lawyer, we will be happy to provide you with a list of lawyers and legal services.

Notary Services → $FREE
We have a WV Notary Public on Staff. Any items you need notarized may be brought to our office and with proper identification may be notarized at no charge.

Memorial Tribute Video → $150.00
Up to 100 photos and or videos and “stock” music with publication on our web site with the obituary and played live during the service at the funeral home. Tributes made for “offsite” publication may be charged an additional fee of $50.00. Product purchases may be made separately on line via our partner “Tukios”.

Live Streaming / Recording of Service → $250.00
Via our partnership with “One Room”. Services at the funeral home may be viewed “live”, in real time, or post services through our web site. Downloads or copies may be purchased separately via “One Room” and all live streams are viewable up to 90 days on our web site. Off site will not be “live” and will be an additional $100.00.

Additional Services May Be Available Upon Request

Honoring Life Obituary and Condolence Center → $FREE
Our web site is available for you to receive online condolences of your loved one. By selecting the obituary on our website, you will be able to view and print the obituary and condolences that are listed underneath. (Due to privacy regulations we cannot provide you with the senders contact information.) Simply click the print button in the top right corner of the obituary listing page that you wish to print.

Obituary posting to Facebook → $FREE

We offer FREE obituary postings to Facebook via Snodgrass Funeral Home’s Facebook page. Find us on Facebook here.
