Roslyn (Rose) Carol Scott
Roslyn (Rose) Carol Scott lost her battle with kidney cancer at the home of her sister Madlyn Scott of Ocean Pines, Maryland on Monday April 30, 2018. Rose was born to Kathleen (nee Bias) and Harold Worth Scott on May 22, 1947. Rose was also preceded in death by her brother James (Jim), by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Frank and Mamie Bias of Peytona, WV and J.L. and Maggie Scott of Grantsboro, N.C.
After leaving West Virginia in 2015 she moved to Ocean Pines, MD to live with her sister Madlyn where she enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels that gathered around the feeders and birdhouses in the side yard there.
In addition to her sister Madlyn, Rose is survived by her sister-in-law Anita Scott, nephew Anthony (Tony), wife Peggy, their children Cami and Zach, and nephew Andrew all of Plano, Texas and niece Kathryn, her husband Jon and their children Hope and Sean from Frisco, TX, and many cousins.
A grave side service will be held on Friday May 4th 2018 at noon at Cunningham Memorial Park in Saint Albans, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Town Cats of Ocean City, 28 Leigh Drive, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.
