Ronald O. Means, age 87, of South Charleston, passed away on Friday December 2, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House.

He worked for One-Hour Martinizing for 25 years, FMC, and retired from Union Carbide. He also worked for the City of South Charleston.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Sally Newcomer Means; brother, Doyle Means; sister Jean Carrier; and six half-brothers and one half-sister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clara; children, Ronda Wood, Jeff Means (Dee Dee), Angie Bradley (David); grandchildren, Mellow, Scott, Jessie, Ronnie, JR, and Jacob; eight great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; two half-sisters and one-half brother.

A private graveside service will be held for family at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston with Rev. Jeff Nichols officiating.
