Timothy Neal Peters, 37, of Charlotte, N.C., was born Sunday, September 21, 1980. He was quietly swept away by Angels on the morning of February 19, 2018.

From the very beginning of his life on earth until the end, Timmy brightened the life of those around him with his beautiful smile, which he shared so easily with everyone he met, and it left a lasting impression.

Joyce Vickers, 68, of South Charleston, passed away on February 21, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House.

She was born on February 12, 1950 in Charleston to the late Gertrude Walker and adopted by the late Louis and Mary Harper. She graduated from South Charleston High School and retired from the West Virginia Department of Finance and Administration.

Elizabeth Houghton Ballard Williams

Elizabeth Houghton Ballard Williams, 74, died peacefully and surrounded by family on February 17, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Elizabeth was born in Charleston, WV, on November 10, 1943.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wiatt and Mildred Johnson Ballard, and her husband of 22 years, Clarence Alfred Williams.

Phyllis Joann Burgess

Phyllis Joann Burgess, 83, of South Charleston, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Joann was a member of the Class of 1951 from Stonewall Jackson High School.  After graduation, she attended McMillian School of Nursing, and received her RN degree.

Harold M. Hayslett

Harold M. Hayslett, 100, of South Charleston died February 14, 2018 at home. 

Born in Putnam County, WV, on December 26, 1917, Harold is the son of James and Maude Mae Hayslett.  He was married to Louise Carpenter Hayslett for 64 years until her death in 2010.
