Dorothy Beaulah Horton, age 91 of South Charleston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 5, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Beaulah was born on July 16, 1928 in St. Albans, daughter of the late Hubert and Louella Meadows Taylor.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey M. Horton; siblings, Nell Preston, Alice Titus, and Mae McDonald.

Betty Pace

Betty Lou Hammer Pace, 88, of South Charleston, passed away on May 2, 2020 at Hubbard Hospice House West.
She was born in Belle, WV to the late Charles B. and Hattie Siemiaczko Hammer.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Pace and brothers, Charles B. Hammer Jr, and Jack B. Hammer as well as sister-in-law, Valma Hammer.

Drexel Tomlinson

Drexel J. Tomlinson, Sr., 94, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully in the arms of God on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Seth, WV and graduated from Sherman High School in 1944.

Sylvia Snodgrass

Sylvia Jean Snodgrass, 84, of Charleston, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at home.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Steven and Marie Bernick . Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Snodgrass, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Duling and 6 siblings.

Lucy Bergen

Lucy Virginia Boles Bergen, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on March 7, 1936, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ, on April 28, 2020, at age 84.  Although she shared a home for the past four years in Cross Lanes, WV, with her daughter, Cheryl; Lucy dearly loved Lexington, Ky.  She raised her family there and always felt Lexington was her forever home.  Lucy was a true-blue UK Wildcat fan.

Frances Neff

Frances Samples Neff passed away Saturday, April 25 at Bellaire Assisted Living in Scott Depot. 
Frances was the first born of the late Cecil and Alta Samples.  She grew up in South Charleston and considered it home.  Frances graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a secretarial degree and worked for Union Carbide, First United Methodist Church and United Talent.  She would tell you her most important job was wife and mother.   She was exemplary in those roles.

Donald Moore

Donald M. Moore, age 75, of South Charleston, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2020 at CAMC General Hospital after a brief illness.
Donald was born September 24, 1944 in Charleston, son of the late Harold and Velma Craig Moore.  He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Berneda Mullins Moore

Maureen Crockett

Maureen Ann “Bunny” Crockett, 82, of St. Albans, passed away on April 20, 2020, at home with her husband and daughter by her side. She was without pain and knew she was surrounded by love. She had the comfort of speaking with her son in Japan the evening before.
