I delivered Meals on Wheels to Dovie for more than three years and she was always so pleasant. She would ask me if she could fix me a cup of coffee or something to eat. When I asked how she was, her response was “Just kickin’ and gougin’”. I will miss her.

I delivered Meals on Wheels to her and she was always so sweet. She invited me in and shared her doll treasures. Every time I ask how she was doing she would say I’m still gouging and scratching. She made me smile. I will miss seeing her. I am sorry for your loss.

Dovie was one of my most precious friends. She was so good to my mother when she was in Dovie’s home care. She was good to everyone. I pray for God to comfort her family. There will never be another one like her. I loved her.
