I will forever remember my Uncle Dan as a kind, loving, caring, epically hilarious human being. He walked hand-in-hand with happiness, and offered the same to all who needed it. He is missed. He is loved, and the lessons he taught me live on through me and my children. Rest easy, Uncle Dan. We love you.

I am just finding out about Dan’s passing and I am beyond heartbroken. We were Dan’s neighbor’s for 10 years until we moved to Florida 8 years ago. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. We would talk outside about our love of music, animals and life in general. He loved our dogs and our parrot. He loved his raccoons and the Sam the neighborhood cat we shared. We would text each other after we moved and I made it a point to always go visit when we were in WV. I’m gonna miss Dan. Keep on Rockin’ and take care of our cats until we meet again! Love you Brother!
