Dear Kackie. What a sad day it was to learn of Cecil’s death. He was my “sweetheart” for about a day when we were in the 8th grade, and has always been my friend, as have you. All of your classmates of 59 love you. We keep you in our prayers. Always, Carrol
Kackie,Lisa and Chris, sending my sincere condolences on your loss of Cecil My heart breaks for you and your family, sending love and prayers . Love Robin
What can we say about Cecil that hasn’t already been said. He was a friend and our insurance agent for 35 years. He always had a smile or a cheerful word to all he came in contact with. We tried recently to contact him about several policies we have without a response, then we knew something was dreadfully wrong. Please accept our sincere condolences and prayers during this difficult time. Charles & Cynthia Carl
I would like to extend my deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Cecil. I met Cecil in 2017 at BB&T and he instantly became one of my favorites. Each time he would visit me, whether, it was football season or basketball season, we would have lengthy conversations about the Mountaineers. One of the biggest fans I have ever met. I’m truly sorry to hear of his passing and he will be missed by us. Sincerely, Greg Saunders
I am so sorry about your Daddy Lisa. I know how much you all loved him. I am praying for peace and comfort for you all.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Cecil’s passing. I pray that the pain you are experiencing now will, with time, be replaced by all the good memories of this wonderful person. Cecil and I got to be good friends at Nautilus in Kanawha City. Our schedules aligned, and we sat in the sauna together and talked for 30 minutes nearly every day. I came to look forward to these discussions, and consider Cecil to be a good friend. His deep love for his wife and family was always evident.
Cecil would light up any room! He was just one of those people. Fun to be around. Loved him! Continued prayers for Kackie, Lisa, Chris and their families. We love you!
Mrs. Eller, family and brother Bernie,
We were shocked and saddened when we read about Cecil’s passing.
Many, many people share this loss with you and hold you in their hearts at this most difficult time. Charley recently saw Cecil at a stop light on Greenbrier Street. They acknowledged each other with a friendly hand wave, Little did he know that this would be his farewell to his friend of many years. Cecil was a warm, kind and friendly person. He was genuine. We loved seeing him and Bernie at Tudor’s joking with his may friends. We will miss that exchange. We know that your hearts are broken and that the loss is unmeasurable but so is the love that he left behind with each of you. Prayers for comfort and peace.
